March 3: On this date....

....in 1991, the Wildcat basketball program celebrated the end of probation with a destruction of Auburn 114-93. They ended with the league's best record, but were ineligible for the SEC title. Scoring 65 points in the first half, the Cats sent Reggie Hanson out on a good note. Following the win, C.M. Newton wanted to signal the end of probation and give the fans a chance to celebrate, so he planned a parade for the Cats to let everyone know we were back.

O.K. this actually happened March 2, 1991, but no one knew the difference and I forgot to put it in yesterday. Today was something from 1951 no one cares about. Whaddaya do?
