The performance tonight has momentarily put the wet blanket on the Kentucky basketball fire. The Cats escape tonight 65-63 in Omaha. A trip to South Bend awaits Wednesday. Jodie Meeks said on the postgame on ESPN News that the Cats were "very, very tough tonight."
Oh, and something else to make you smile, here's this!
How good did that 3 look at the end?
ReplyDeletevery. Everyone knew it was going in. We woulda lost by 15 at home probably.
ReplyDeleteI thought the game was over when Porter and Meeks botched up that lazy exchange late in the game down by 1. Lucky we didn't get called for an intentional since usually it gets called when the player is on a breakaway and his jersey gets grabbed. It would have been a fitting end to this dreadful season. But I'm glad we are still breathing. I'll be happy to watch UK basketball rain or shine.

ReplyDeleteWe better do something fast. With each passing victory my stance on the 'BCG' issue becomes softer and more passive.Heck in a couple weeks I may actually want the guy back!I'm tellin ya' Bub we better lose, and I mean LOSE BIG at Notre Dame on Wednesday or else we are doomed for another year with this clown. If that sounds extreme please note that only two weeks ago I considered 'BCG' as somewhat of a cross between Bernie Madoff and a rabid Oppussum, and that the best solution would be for all of the above to be publicly euthanized....for the greater good.
ReplyDeleteSo with tongue planted firmly in cheek, i put it to YOU fellow UK fans....Hope for the worst Tommorow, maybe an epic sideline meltdown resulting in a tussle with an elderly Alum.Or perhaps innuendo of Johnny Walker in the coach's gatorade bottle.Something, anything, make it stop.....I'm sorry.
