Kentucky has reportedly waited until a replacement coach is in place before letting go of Gillispie, who spent two seasons in Lexington.
It will be interesting how this all plays out. Was it bad timing two years ago? Is now a good time to leave Gainesville? Can he really turn down an offer to coach Pat Patterson and Jodie Meeks along with some possible gangsta recruits? Why wouldn't he want to be at the reigns of the first program to reach 2000 victories?

ReplyDeleteIf it is Donovan, it makes sense to do it quick. He has that clause in his contract that if he leaves before April 1st, UK doesn't have to pay a $500k buyout.

ReplyDeleteAlso i checked out that Florida News web site,it was three paragraphs long! it just announced the guy that turned around a program,won two ntl championships a three final fours and it took up all of three paragraphs! Football school.
