Party's Over?

Now that we've gotten some awesome news about Pat coming back next year, let's get back to reality. We have a vastly underachieving team getting ready to end a consecutive NCAA streak.
So let's play a little good news-bad news this morning.

Good news: The Cats only lost by 5 to Ole Miss on the road. Its a neutral site today.
Bad news: Ole Miss is a team who totally dominated them in the 2nd half in Oxford.

Good news: Our big two both had sub-par games when the teams met earlier in the year.
Bad news: Rebels have two above-par guards who can make it rain from 3 point land.

Good news: Due to our inconsistency, we are due for a good game.
Bad news: Seems like we should have have been due a good game in one of the previous four.

Good news: We've got absolutely nothing to lose. Even the fan's expectations are low.
Bad news: Our point guard is Michael Porter (who I'm sure is a lovely person)

Good news: If we win, I can finally shave off my poorly groomed, losing streak porn-stache.
Bad news: We've looked dreadful in the past few games. My porn-stache is nasty and its starting to curl into my mouth.

There you go. Hopefully you can sense this is a bigger game for me than any of your fanhood. No offense. You will all be cheering for a UK win and possible run to a SEC title, while I will selfishly be longing for the days of a cold upper lip.

Go Cats.

  1. For those of us that can't make it to a TV today to watch the game, you can watch it online here.

Just go to the bottom of the page where it shows the Mississippi game and click on the picture of the video camera.

  3. Oh, you anonymous you. I have mixed feelings on it now. Kinda feel like it helped us win.

  4. I'm new to the site, so I'll hide behind the curtain for a while. Tough decision on the stache. Either way you go, a tough game tomorrow could be blamed on your decision.

  5. Yeah. If we lose tomorrow, the blame will be on the stache, whether it be because it is sill there or because it is gone.
