Alan Cutler, Keepin it real

So....Patrick Patterson is coming back next year. That's what Pat told Alan Cutler's mustache last night during an interview. Hmmm, if this is the case, I'd have to say this season is a success. I mean, if the team was bad enough for Pat to feel guilty about leaving it in worse position than when he got here, then kudos to the 2008-09 Cats. The initial reports said Pat was "planning on coming back for his junior year." And as you know in Kentucky lore, one word can be the difference in an entire fan base flippin' the EFF out. If he's "planning" on coming back, then much can change.

But with Patterson making this info public, I'm guessing the meeting between Todd, Gillispie, and Barnhart will get much less coverage. Gillispie is thanking his lucky stars right now since Pat has been showing him some love lately.

Always sounds better from the horses' mouth. Can you imagine being in the locker room and Pat breaking this news, but nobody hears it except Alan Cutler? Ouch.
