Sign of the Times

This bit was sent to me this morning concerning the state of a few UK fans. It speaks of how they decided to make the three hour trip north to watch Tubby and the Gophers play instead of staying home or going to Tampa with the Cats. If nothing else, this year's team has become a public relations nightmare.

Another story about Billy Clyde and the ESPN All-Access crew following around the Cats during the final week of the regular season:
Not only is coach Billy Gillispie an unpopular popular figure because Kentucky basketball is floundering, his reputation as an arrogant jerk is magnifying. Last week, Gillispie provided little access to the team to espn.com reporter Dana O'Neil leading up to the Florida game, after consenting to the arrangement. That prompted O'Neil to give athletic director Mitch Barnhart an earful about his basketball coach. As much as Kentucky fans soured on Tubby Smith at the end of his tenure, the rising discontent with Gillispie is far worse. ...

This cannot end good for Mr. Gillispie.
