Well, Saturday was awful. I like to think something good can come from the loss, but not much good comes to mind in a must-win game resulting in a loss.
- Kevin Galloway was nice.............on offense. Good thing we waited 30 games to find out.
- Sure hope Michael Porter has a loving wife. If she stays with him through his time at UK, she's a keeper.
- Pat Patterson showed he was a lottery pick. Meaning he needs to come back for, what again?
- The past month has exposed who we really are as a team. Mediocre with one great player (PP), and one great college player (JM).
- Jodie Meeks is coming back, which is good, unless fans sell Gillispie's house.
- If you can look in the mirror and say, "UK is an NCAA tourney team", with a straight-face, you probably need an intervention.
I won't waste your time or mine with a recap of Saturday's game. Everyone's read what they want to read. If you hate Gillispie, suck it up. There's no reason to make your life, or anyone else's life around you miserable for the near future, because he ain't goin' nowhere. Which is the right move.
