Potpourri

Some articles of note on this Wednesday afternoon.
  • Jon Solomon of The Birmingham News says tickets sales are down for this year's SEC Tourney in Tampa. UK is the only school to have sold out of their ticket allotment. The economy and drive time (avg. 10 hrs/school) are two of the key factors. Tickets should be cheap if you're going.
  • Doug Segrest of The Birmingham News says an NCAA Tourney without the Cats would be weird, just in harsher words.
  • Chip Towers of the Atlanta Journal Constitution says Georgia is not only looking to actually compete this go-round vs. the Cats, but burst any UK bubble talk as well. The Bulldogs have beaten Vandy and Florida since Dennis Felton was let go. Be weary tonight.

Kentucky is a 17 point favorite tonight?!?! I know its Georgia, but this current UK team beating anyone by 17 if a bit far-fetched. Hope I'm wrong.
