Well, We had a good run!
The Memphis Commercial Appeal tonight is saying the NCAA is alleging some major violations against the University of Memphis during its 38-win 2007-08 season. The allegations involve fraudulent misconduct on SAT exams (possibly Derrick Rose), along with providing $2,250 in travel expenses to an associate of a player. (Gulp)While the allegations don't name Don John Calipari in them, the NCAA has requested his presence at the hearings. I wonder if he'll be sending tweets during this whole process?Too bad Memphis didn't have Sandy Bell down there knockin' heads.Everyone knew the good news had to stop at some point, but to have it come down like this.........and this fast??? Ummm......that.......John Calipari..... sure does like to keep his name in the news, eh?
