... in 1983, Kentucky All-American center Sam Bowie continued workouts to rehabilitate his broken left leg. Bowie's leg had been in five separate casts since the fall of 1981, when reports first came out of a fractured tibia. He was able to get back in time for a 1984 Final Four run in Seattle, where they lost to Patrick Ewing and Georgetown. As much hell as he gets, he didn't have THAT awful of an NBA career.UK calendar
