Adreian Payne, a 6'10" forward from Dayton, OH will be on campus this week for an official visit to UK. Rivals has him listed as the #2 power forward in the class of 2010 and #8 overall. Looking into the crystal ball, you gotta think we'll be losing quite a few big men next spring: Pat Patterson, Perry Stevenson, and Kwame Brown DeMarcus Cousins. Not to mention the guys who might not even be back for this fall: Josh Harrellson and Matt Pilgrim. There's gonna be plenty of PT down low in the fall of 2010.

Jodie Meeks has officially been invited in the NBA Draft camp/combine May 28-29 in Chicago. There were a total of 52 players invited, none more deserving than Jodie. We all wish him well and hope the scouts don't drink the Meeks Kool-Aid for another 12 months.

Scout.com has released their team rankings for the class of 2009 with Kentucky leading the way. Nothing makes a fan base more excited than a meaningless ranking six months before the season starts. Go ahead and start planning for a trip to Indy next April.

Coach Cal will be attending the 4th annual Dickie V Gala in Sarasota, FL tonight to help raise awareness of cancer. America, are you serious?!?!?! Rick Pitino and Billy Donovan will serve as co-hosts of the event.
