The man pictured above officially became the all time winningest coach after the CATS beat Mississippi State in Starkville 103-74. Rupp notched his 768th win passing Henry Iba. Louis Dampier led UK with 32 points and 7 boards. Pat Riley added 26 & 7. Rupp would hold this mark until March 15, 1997, when North Carolina's Dean Smith grabbed win 877.
