Late Night Roundup

Highlights of April 8th - Links below if you need to catch up:

  • DeMarcus Cousins commits to UK.
  • I tried calling out our reader(s) for not commenting enough.
  • Daniel Orton asks for a release from UK.
  • Daniel Orton's father says he is still committed to Kentucky.
  • Nolan Dennis, former Memphis recruit, will play in this Derby Classic All-Star game this weekend. He will also take a visit to Lexington.
  • Joe B. & Denny talk to UK's newest coach John Calamari.
  • Coach Cal conducts one of the last few practices of the year. Darius Miller is awesome.
  • Chapel Hill does its best Middle East impersonation.
  • Jeff Keppinger is starting the season off on fire with the Astros after the Reds traded him (due to being loved by Reds fans). Eddie Encarnacion still isn't good. Reds 0-2.

Good night or good morning.

  1. You think Larry Orton is thinking" what a bunch of nuts! They call me everytime they hear a rumor,he'll be there next year already!"

  2. Did Joe B or Denny call him Calimari, or is that a typo or an attempt at comedy?

  3. Joe B. really called him Calamari. Im guessing it was an accident. It was toward the end of the show and it wasn't explained as a joke.

  4. Earlier in the show Joe B. made a joke about eating calamari the night before. Then a caller butchered Cal's name (Copilari), and then Joe B. fumbled it a little, causing Cal to give Joe B. a hard time about it.
