After extensive research, BBB has confirmed Ainge thinks it was purely coincidental Rondo was the point guard when they won the Championship last year.You only have to look at the most recent postseason run to realize Rondo was the most consistent guy on the team. His statline during the 2009 NBA Playoffs: 16.7 pts - 9.7 rebs - 9.8 asst. I would be willing to put those numbers up against any other point guard in the 2009 Playoffs.
Everyone knows Rondo has room for improvement, but his skills far outweigh his weaknesses. Lockdown D and a freak rebounder says what? He just turned 23. I'm guessing Ainge could find a few suitors to take his "problem" away from him.
