Darius Miller Confident in New Team

ESPN's Andy Katz is at the U-19 Team USA trials in Colorado Springs this week trying to get a feel of who will be on the new team. He points out that while most of the talk about Kentucky this offseason has centered around Coach Cal, the return of Pat, and the newcomers, one Wildcat is flying under the radar.

Katz has a nice writeup of just how important the Kentucky sophomore will be in the upcoming season:

If he can he make this squad, that would go along way toward proving to Calipari that he can be a baller, too.

"I'm not paying attention to that," Miller said of all the talk about everyone else. "I'm glad for the team that everyone is talking good about us and saying we can compete for a national championship. That's my only goal."

Darius also said that while he wished friend and former teammate Jodie Meeks would have come back for his senior year, he thinks everything will be fine:
... But after seeing Wall and Bledsoe in an open-gym scrimmage, he's anticipating a seamless transition for the Wildcats.

"They were a good fit and the few times they were on teams together they played really well," Miller said. "We were all playing well, but we're not there yet, but we're getting there."

Man, I'm absolutely torqued to see Darius this fall and wish him well this summer. Go Cats.
