E.J. Fields Needs Surgery

Promising wide receiver E.J. Fields has gone down with a foot injury that will keep him out for most of the season. A big blow for an unproven receiving corp. Rich Brooks relayed the message via Twitter saying E.J. was having a nice summer, but surgery is in the works.

John Connor is still nursing an ankle sprain and the team will know more in a few days.

Derrick Locke and Alfonso Smith have ran the ball well in practice, but lack conditioning.

PaPaw also gave props to Trevard for making the "Play Boy" All-American team. I'm guessing either Brooks has never seen a Playboy before or he was trying to stay away from the Twitter police. Think about the stories ol' Hugh and PaPaw could turn out. Like lookin' in a mirror.
