McDonald's All-American game update:
DeMarcus Cousins, who had only verbally committed to Memphis, now has Kentucky as his leader in the clubhouse. Cousins ended with 14 points tonight. Xavier Henry, the other big time Memphis recruit, had 14 as well. Henry will announce his decision Thursday afternoon. Kansas seems to be the front-runner.
I couldn't help but smile when I saw that.
ReplyDeletecouldn't help it. hadn't seen the commercial in a while.
ReplyDeleteDoes the Calipari hire end BBB as we knew it over the last week? Anyone? Anyone?
(crickets)
How nervous was the Ronald McDonald House spokesman?
ReplyDeleteI've lost count on how many times they've talked about the Cousins/Henry/Calipari situation. This is awesome!
ReplyDelete10x the amount of publicity as compared to 2 years ago.
ReplyDeletehey u crazy mfer what did our mcdonald's all american's box scores look like tonight?
ReplyDeletecome out from behind the curtain and I'll tell you.
ReplyDeleteCousins seemed a little slow and clumsy to me, for the up-tempo, sloppy style they were playing. Also, is it just me, or is it hard to imagine Patterson and another big guy on the floor at the same time with Cal's offense? I don't think Patterson has the skills to stand out behind the 3-point line and create his own shot. It would be nice to see Orton and Pat on the floor at the same time in a traditional offense, but Cal won't be running that kind of offense.
