Latest Mock Draft Has Cousins Going To Oakland....Uh-Oh.

While I want to see the current Cats go on to have successful careers in the NBA, a part of me is scared to death to see where our beloved 2009-10 stars might be going. It's a foregone conclusion Freak Show is going number one overall to New Jersey unless the ping-pong gods have something to say about it.

The second Cat off the board is concerning me even more. The Big Lead has has put together a 2010 Mock Draft with Big Cuz going third overall to Golden State. Which is Oakland........you know...........Oakland. And I'm having trouble seeing this as the place Boogie will blossom into an all-timer.

The lottery can pan out a multitude of ways, but one has to think Cousins is a lock to be a top five pick. The season he is having is statistically amazing, as he can score and rebound at will. Granted the competition isn't professional, but I don't see too many other college guys, much less a freshman doing these things at the level the Big Cuz.

Most of the teams are in the lottery for a reason, but of all the markets to go to, Oakland has to be the worst. Over the hill coach who has a bad history with draft picks, along with a "volatile" youngsta is a recipe for disaster.
