Calipari 2.01 - Young Cats Beat the Moose Outta Windsor

Knight dribbles in front of the Wu-Tang VIP section.

John Calipari campaign 2.0 started off quite well north of the border with a 95-62 win v. Windsor. The star of the show was newcomer Brandon Knight, who helped put to rest the fact he can play without long hair. He finished his first "game" as a Cat doing everything his predecessor did with the exception of flips on dunks. To the highlights!

Knight's line: 11-19 FG, 8-8 FT, 31 points - 8 rebounds - 4 assists - 0 turnovers

DeAndre
Liggins
showed a much improved offensive game, showcasing an ability to get to the rim at will. His progression is paramount.

Darius Miller has taken over the leadership role of this team. Of the teams six three-pointers, Darius had four. His play inside (rebounds, putbacks, etc) sent a message to Big Blue Nation: This is my team.

PoleCat
had one of the more impressive drives of the night, luckily for us, the Big Blue Network was running the show and had the camera on a wall as it happened. We only got to see the tail end of it.

End of the day: W

Star of the Show: sideline reporter Dom Papa

Go Cats.
